Together with Studio laVina, we created our light sculpture, ‘Winged Weaves’ for the Steinbeisser experimental gastronomy event in Basel, Switzerland.
For this project, We used local linen harvested, and woven in the Netherlands. In crafting this project with an eco-conscious mindset, we placed great emphasis on using locally sourced, eco-friendly textiles, and working with local artisans.
The light sculpture spotlights sustainable locally sourced linen. It can be produced on-site using available materials and regionally-made sustainable fabrics, decreasing environmental impact.
The textile folds could be customized to create a unique aesthetic suitable for your space. The local and natural materials evoke sustainability, allowing this lamp to become an interior centerpiece.
